Its Official!  EWB-USA qualifies for a $50,000 Grant in America's Giving ChallengeAmerica's Giving Challenge ended at noon on January 31st with EWB-USA in second place among US-based charities for number of donors.  This qualifies EWB-USA for a $50,000 grant from the Case Foundation.  

The Puget Sound Professionals contributed 26 donors, raising a total of $881 for our chapter. Thanks to all of you who got involved to make this happen, despite a late start by EWB-USA.   Check posted results for America's Giving Challenge


EWB  International Conference in Seattle:   March 27 - 30, 2008
The Engineers Without Borders 2008 International Conference will take place  in Seattle at the University of Washington from March 27 - 30, 2008.  The theme of the conference is Global Health and Sustainable Engineering.  The conference is being co-hosted by the Puget Sound Professionals Chapter,  the University of Washington Student Chapter and the Seattle University Student Chapter.
